Tickets for the 29th annual Mad Hatters Luncheon and Fashion Show by Saks Fifth Avenue “Mad Hatters goes Broadway” at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside are on sale. The event starts at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Runway tables $100 (SOLD OUT), available are Patron tables $85.00 and general admission $75.00. The Patron Party will be at one of New Orleans most prestigious homes on Sunday, March 10, 2013. There will be a fashion show with the music from the Broadway play Mammia Mia and the Outstanding Silent Auction which will include art, trips, fine jewelry and more. Numerous celebrities from the NO Metro area will design and decorate hats for this worthy cause. The Hat Auction will SHOWCASE more than 40 designer hats. Judging of hats worn by both men and ladies will be done by: Terrance Osborne, Local Artist, Randi Rousseau, WDSU News Anchor, Gayle Benson, Wife of New Orleans Saints & Hornets owner, Tom Benson, Juan Barona, Men & Women of Fashion, New Orleans, Andre de LaBarre, Primary Event Consultant; and Anais St. John, Famous New Orleans Jazz Vocalist. Proceeds from this event go to support the New Orleans Opera and Opera education of young people in the Community.
